Me han dicho que un bocado de pocas almendras llanas al día es bueno para mí. Soy un diabético femenino de 58 años tomando Coumadin con los stents del corazón & un defibrillator. En el pasado he tenido un puñado al día. ¿Son los niveles de la vitamina K bajos o altos en almendras?
Tienes razón que las almendras hacen un gran bocado. Hay buena evidencia a que pueden ayudar para cambiar tu perfil del colesterol por mejorando el buen colesterol (HDL) y también teniendo un efecto positivo en el (mal) colesterol de LDL. Aunque son altas en grasa, las grasas son las que son mejores comer.
Interesante, tener un puñado como bocado no se ha demostrado para causar aumento de peso cuando está comparado a comer otros bocados como virutas, las galletas o los molletes.
Esencialmente no hay vitamina K en almendras.
