Preheat oven to 400F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Scrub sweet potatoes well, then poke several times with a fork.
Bake sweet potatoes on prepared pan in the center of oven 1 hour, or until tender. When the potatoes are done, set aside to cool.
In a large pot heat oil over medium heat.

Slice the cooled potatoes in half lengthwise, scoop out the flesh, and add to the pot.
Using an immersion blender, puree the soup, blending until smooth, or carefully transfer to a blender to puree.

Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and place on a microwave safe plate or bowl. Cover and microwave until potatoes begin to soften, about 5-10 minutes.
Wrap potatoes in tin foil and place in preheated oven. Bake until tender, about 20 minutes.
Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven. To serve, top half of a potato with 3/4 cup of chili and 1 tablespoon of cheese. Top with yogurt and chives and serve warm.
