I read your article that says no problems eating eggs on Coumadin. My doctors tell me not to eat egg yolks on Coumadin due to the vitamin K. I am confused.
Eggs do not contain significant amounts of Vitamin K. The USDA Nutrition Database reports a large raw egg as having 0.2 micrograms (mcg). I have not found any reports in the medical literature of eggs having an effect on your INR.
Thanks for writing.
