For some folks exercising can be a trigger for GERD (acid reflux). As with most triggers, however, exercise may affect some and not others. The general recommendation is to not exercise too soon after eating. Start slow with something simple, like walking, and keep a diary of your symptoms so that you can learn what will be a trigger for you.
