Pecan Brown Sugar Oatmeal with Berries

Ingredients
1/2 cup Oatmeal (quick oats) |
1 cup Blue Diamonds Almonds, Almond Breeze, Lactose Free Almond Milk, Original |
1/8 tsp. Salt |
2 tsp. packed Light brown sugar (light brown sugar) |
1/4 tsp. Ground cinnamon |
1 Tbsp., chopped Pecans (toasted) |
1/4 cup Blueberries, raw (or sliced strawberries) |
Instructions
In a small sauce pot over medium-high heat, add oats and cook about 5 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
Next, remove pot from heat and add almond milk.
Place back over low-medium heat and add salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Top with toasted pecans and fruit and serve.
If oatmeal is too thick, add 1-2 Tbsp. of additional almond milk.
