Simple Sauteed Shrimp

This recipe can easily be multiplied.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. Olive oil
8 Ounces Shrimp, raw (peeled and deveined)
1/8 tsp. Salt

Instructions

Gather all ingredients and equipment.

Heat a medium sauté pan over high heat. When the pan is hot add the oil.

The oil is hot when it shimmers or create small ripples when the pan is tilted.

Add the shrimp. Sprinkle shrimp with salt before turning over.

Cook shrimp for about 2 minutes on a side or until the shrimp are just opaque and pink.

Serve.

The key to juicy, tender shrimp is to avoid over cooking. This happens very quickly so as soon as the shrimp become opaque and are pink, remove them from the heat.
